A little poetry

In case you didn’t know, April is National Poetry Month. It’s a month-long celebration of poetry and poets, full of readings and other events in celebration of one of our oldest art forms.

Coincidentally, the week April 19th through the 25th is National Library Week, a celebration of all things library-related.

And today, April 22nd, is also Earth Day.

In honor of National Poetry Month, National Library Week, and Earth Day, I present some poetry I created by reusing the pages of discarded books. I hope you enjoy. And I hope it inspires you to create your own works of art out using discarded or recycled materials.
